Our flagship event, the Oswestry Show, first held in 1862 and now in its 138th year, draws over 15,000 visitors annually. Set for Saturday 2nd August 2025, it remains one of the UK’s leading one-day agricultural shows - a lively gathering of farmers, families, and local exhibitors showcasing the very best of rural life.

But the showground is more than just the home of the Oswestry Show. Throughout the year, our spacious and versatile grounds host a wide variety of public and private events - from vintage rallies and country fairs to antique markets and seasonal festivals. Whether it’s livestock or live music, tractors or trade stands, Oswestry Showground brings people together.
