Oswestry Show is held on the first Saturday in August each year. A committee of approximately 40 volunteers and one part time Show Manager administers the staging of this event. The principle aim of the Show is to promote agriculture and rural ideas to the surrounding community.
We hope you will be able to join us at the Showground, Park Hall, Oswestry on Saturday 7th August to celebrate our 125th Show between 8:30 am and 6.00 pm.
Our visitors can enjoy browsing around our Food Hall, Craft and Business Marquees and over 100 trade stands. The Society is proud that we are still able to attract a high percentage of agricultural stands.

We have numerous livestock competitions;
HORSES
Heavy Horses, Hunters, Riding Horses, Show Hunter Ponies, Working Hunter Ponies, Children's Riding Classes, Riding Ponies, Welsh Cobs C & D, Welsh Mountain Ponies A & B, Part Bred Welsh Ponies, Palominos, Shetlands, Mountain & Moorland, Coloured Horses and Ponies and In-Hand Veteran Horse and Pony
CATTLE
Holstein, Ayrshire, Jersey, Welsh Blacks, Hereford, Limousin, Welsh National Charolais show, Highland, Simmental, British Blue, Any Beef Breed, Commercial Beef and Children's Calf Handling Competitions.
SHEEP
Suffolk, Border Leicester, Lleyn, Shropshire, Texel, Charollais, The Bluefaced Leicester Sheep Progeny show ,Charmoise Hill, Any Sheep Breed, Welsh Hill Speckled Face, Kerry Hill, Zwartbles, Butchers Lambs and Children's Handling Classes.
