Gerard grew up near Paris where, from an early age he recognised a natural understanding and affinity with horses which enable him to train them for any task.
Based on the horsemanship of the Mongol cavalry which was the most effective in military history these battle techniques have been transformed into acrobatics on horseback. Our riders need more than just physical fitness, gymnastic ability and a taste for danger, they need a willing accomplice in the form of a horse who enjoys tearing along at a full gallop whilst its rider is hanging on at impossible angles from its back, or vaulting, or even standing in the saddle!
Gerard Naprous and The Devil's Horsemen
Probably the fastest most thrilling display of horsemanship you will ever see. Gerard's fully choreographed chariot races, using 2 and 4 man teams, have been playing to crowds all over Europe for years and performing with some of the world's best known horses whose recent film credits include: War Horse with Stephen Speilberg, The King's Speech with Colin Firth, Woman in Black with Daniel Radcliffe and numerous TV adverts including the famous Lloyds TSB black stallion.
Sit back and enjoy film action brought live to Oswestry Show!
